Description:

Noveof tablet is a combination of two antibacterial drugs Ofloxacin and Ornidazole which provide effective remedies to a wide range if infections.
 
Mechanism of Action:
  • Ofloxacin with its antibiotic properties kills bacteria by restricting DNA reproduction.
  • Ornidazole with its anti- bacterial and anti- protozoal properties interacts with the DNA present within the microorganisms preventing cell death.
 
Uses:
Noveof tablet is widely used in treating the following conditions:
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Bacterial infections
  • Skin infections
  • Eye and ear infections
  • Respiratory infections
  • Vaginal infections
  • Pelvic infection
  • Diarrhoea and Dysentery
  • Post surgical conditions
  • Amoebiasis
  • Dental infection
  • Gastroenteritis
 
Precautions:
  • Consumption of milk and dairy products should be avoided
  • Pregnant ladies and breastfeeding mothers to consult the doctor before taking this medicine.
  • Should be avoided if the patient suffers from epilepsy and multiple sclerosis
  • Do not consume Noveof if allergic to any of its components.
  • Should be consumed on prescription by the doctor
